Hazardous Substance Removal
Compliance Contract


River City Waste Recyclers is required by 40 CFR §§ 63, 82 & 761 to have all scrap customers certify the following:

 As a portion of River City’s material source control program all suppliers of automobiles, appliances and other light iron products destined for shredding (collectively “light iron”) are required to sign a Hazardous Materials Compliance Contract (HMCC) prior to delivering to our facility. The HMCC is the supplier’s certification that hazardous materials are not present in scrap metal delivered to our facility. HMCC can be obtained from our purchasing staff or other facility employees.
